Vilohemmet

Vilohemmet (Le Jardin du Soir) looks down from a balcony on a summer night in the archipelago. A full moon sits in a sky of swirling blue strokes and lights the water beyond the red-roofed houses, while a path leads through the dark garden towards the jetty, where a single lamp still burns.

The sky is laid on in long, circling strokes, and the garden in short, thick dabs that catch the moonlight like leaves.
